How to Celebrate Halloween as an Adult

The spooky season is here and it is in full swing! From carving pumpkins, pumpkin spice lattes, haunted houses, the fair, there’s so much Halloween activities to partake in. Halloween doesn’t have to be viewed as just a kid’s holiday, it can be fun for adults too! The question is: how do you celebrate Halloween without the trick or treating? Well look no further, here are some ways you can celebrate adult style!

  1. Halloween Movie Marathon

If you’re a scary movie junkie and want to share that with your friends, I would suggest hosting a scary movie watch party and pick out your favorite horror movies special to Halloween. I’m sure your friends would love to partake in the event. Just add some snacks, drinks, and it will guarantee a great time.

  2. Haunted Houses

This popular activity is always guaranteed to be a great time! There are lots of haunted houses that are open to the public. Finding good haunted houses is not a hard task, but finding houses that don’t have a big price tag to enjoy might pose as a more difficult one. So, if you’re willing to shell out a little bit of dough to enjoy yourself (and get scared), it is worth it in my opinion. Bring friends with you!

  3. Host a Halloween Costume party!

People love attending parties for the enjoyment of getting together with their friends and having a good time, and also meeting new people and making new friends. If you’re not one to host parties, especially Halloween Costume parties, then I would suggest attending one.

  4. Hand out candy!

If you find yourself not wanting to go out for Halloween, but still want to celebrate regardless, here’s an idea: pass out candy to the kids that are trick or treating! This will definitely lift your spirits, it will give you a reason to eat some candy (after the kids go home), and to encourage the next generation to celebrate this awesome and spooky holiday. Back when you were a kid, you probably loved dressing up and going trick or treating with your friends, or siblings, and seeing how much candy you would get and whose costumes are the best.

There are many more ways to celebrate as an adult, but these are just some ideas to get your creative juices flowing for the spooky season. Lots of people, such as me, prefer to stay at home and wrap myself up in a blanket and watch a Halloween movie marathon from FreeForm.

Pink Out Football Game

SOUTHLAKE CARROLL

As many may know, the month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This month we are featuring a shirt design that we did for Southlake Carroll Pink Out Game. Pink Out games are important, especially for the victims, family and friends that are affected by Breast Cancer because they show solidarity and support for those affected. This gives the community a chance to come together and show support.

Nightmare Misprints.jpg

These misprints make you think: “How can that happen?” Here at Global Threads take the time and energy to make sure that each shirt/sweatshirt we sell is printed perfectly and looks great. Each shirt we print, there is always quality assurance behind the scenes and right before it ships. These pictures above are definitely cringe-worthy, but if you order from us, this will not happen and we can guarantee that.
