425 Bowl. Bothell Vs Legacy.

Football fans are you ready for football season? Well, it’s back and ready to get into full swing. Friday night football games are a tradition for most, especially High School football on Friday nights. Anyone who loves football knows that every Friday night during your high school years is the night where you go watch the big game with your friends under the stadium lights cheering on your team in the stadium bleachers decked out in your school’s colors. Great news for Bothell and Legacy High School football fans: Friday September 6th, the Bothell Cougars and the Legacy Lightning will square off in the premiere football game for the second year. The 425 Bowl game is not like any other high school football game; this game features a team from out of state: Legacy High School from Broomfield, Colorado. You don’t usually see high school football teams face off from different states, so this game already has more at stake for both teams participating: bragging rights for their respective states.

This event really hits home for Global Threads founder and president Kyle McAllister as he is an alumnus at Bothell High School; not just as a student but as a former player for the Cougars back in 2010. McAllister is from Seattle, Washington and attended Gonzaga University after high school where he studied finance. Now he resides in Dallas, Texas where Global Threads is based out of. McAllister will be in attendance at the big game and will be providing custom designed 425 Bowl shirts for the game where family, friends, and fans have the chance to order them beforehand.

This is more than just a game for McAllister, it is a chance to reconnect and reunite with former teammates, friends, and even his coaches that he used to play under during his years of playing for Bothell High School. Coach Bainter is currently the coach for the Cougars and was on the coaching staff while McAllister was a player for the Cougars. Also, notable Bothell High School Alumni Johnny Hekker who was a former punter for the Cougars and is the current punter for the Los Angeles Rams (#6) is on the list for a 425 Bowl shirt and will be showing his support for his former high school team. This game is a great event for alumni, friends, family, and most of all fans. This is a game you can’t miss if you’re in the Bothell area.

The game will take place at Pop Keeney Stadium in Bothell, Washington at 7:00 in the evening, so bring your game day spirit, your friends and family and come support your teams! In addition to your team spirit, make sure to order a 425 Bowl Shirt for the game!
