When I first founded Global Threads LLC, my vision was to create a custom print business that supported universities and companies in brand promotion. After a successful launch at my alma mater, Gonzaga University, producing apparel for their extensive study abroad programs, my next step was to expand to my former high school: Bothell High School (BHS) in Washington state. Specifically, I wanted to reach their football program, which has been a long-standing staple and tradition in my hometown.   In 2014, I arranged a meeting with my former Bothell High School football coach, Tom Bainter, to introduce Global Threads...

Fredericksburg, Global Threads Blog, Texas, Travel, wine country -

Written by SoloShell Willkommen to Deutschland. I mean Fredericksburg. . .  Fredericksburg, Texas to be exact. Check your GPS. You might not realize that you’re only 75 miles West of the capital of Texas.  At times, Tuscany seeps into your awareness as wineries abound in this land of fertile grapevines.  The rich German-Texas town vibrates with old world goodness in shoppes and restaurants featuring schnitzel and biergartens that rival many authentic German towns.  Fear not; however, this slice of European heaven won’t break the  budget! But I was excited to get to Europe and get out of the United States for a few weeks. I was really ready for something different in my life. I actually went on this trip to receive a three hours credit towards...

When I was 12 years old, I remember getting up early to make the run to Beat the Bridge. My dad and I ran it together as one of our close family friends suffers from Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). There were years that our entire neighborhood would do the run to help create a world without T1D. Now, hitting the 35th anniversary of the run, I am humbled to have been a part of it and grateful to the Nordstrom family for sponsoring such a historic event year after year.   This year, Global Threads partnered with some Nordstrom...
